Awaken your senses with a visit to the Kauai Coffee Plantation, the award-winning Koloa Rum Company and vintage train ride through the orchards at Kilohana.

On a guided walk at the Kauai Coffee Plantation, learn about the island's coffee industry, Hawaiian history and the coffee grown here on the estate. On a shaded, meandering path, you'll see five different coffee varietals as well as the entire coffee process from initial blossoming, through harvesting and processing, to the final roasting. Step into the Visitor Center and enjoy a sample of coffee plus a special treat -- a chocolate macadamia nut cookie. End your visit with a short stop at the gift shop.

At the historical Kilohana Plantation Estate, visit the award-winning Koloa Rum Company. Enjoy a sample of Koloa Rum -- the original Hawaiian rum made on Kauai -- in the tasting room and browse in the Company Store for made-in-Kauai products.

Right next door, step aboard the Kauai Plantation Railway for a 40-minute ride pulled by an authentic 1939 Whitcomb diesel train engine. Take your seat in one of the two mahogany coaches and relax as you pass through 104 acres of sugar cane, taro and exotic fruit orchards.

This 'sense-sational' tour is not to be missed.
