From Monaco, your motor coach will take the Middle Corniche road to the medieval village of Eze, perched on a craggy peak above the Mediterranean. Often called the eagle's nest, Eze is closed to traffic, so you will walk along its steep narrow cobblestone streets to explore its hidden corners.

Continue along the Middle Corniche, with views over Beaulieu, St Jean Cap Ferrat and Villefranche along the way.

In Nice, enjoy a short panoramic drive through the city. Take walk into the Old Town, where tall houses, bright with flowers, exclude the glare of sun and keep the streets cool. Stroll down the Cours Saleya, the elegant promenade of Old Nice, where the famous food and flower market is held.

At the oldest wine cellar in town, learn all about the cellar's history, about the different wine production methods and, during an entertaining presentation, taste a selection of three wines accompanied by light snacks.

Return to Monaco via the Lower Corniche, along the coast at the foot of the mountains of the Cote d'Azur.

Notes:

On Mondays there is a brocantage (antiques and curios) fair at Cours Saleya instead of the flower/fruit market. Extended walking is required in both Eze and Nice. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Eze features steep uphill climbs with cobblestones and many steps. Nice's sidewalks are mainly paved and even; the Old Town is a 15-minute walk from the coach drop-off area. The Corniche route is taken traffic conditions permitting. Minimum age is 18 years.
