The Benaki Museum has recently undergone thorough modernization and has been extended with the addition of a new wing. There are more than 30,000 items here illustrating the character of every period of Greek history -- antiquity, Roman domination, medieval and Byzantine times, the fall of Constantinople, the Ottoman and Frankish occupation, the war of Independence, and the formation of the modern state.

There is a walk of 180-300 yards from the ship to the motor coach. Available for Vista-class ships only. Tour does not operate on Mondays or Tuesdays.
