Hop aboard a wheeled trolley train that is exclusive to Holland America Line guests, and discover the highlights of Cartagena at a leisurely pace. The city of Cartagena, originally settled in 223 BC, flourished under Roman, Muslim and Arab rule and offers a vast cultural legacy acquired over more than 3,000 years.

Take photos at Parque Torres, offering stunning views of Cartagena Bay, and admire Conception Castle. View, from the outside, one of the most surprising archaeological finds of the city -- the ruins of the Roman theatre of Cartagena. Its unique characteristics confirm the important role that the city of Cartagena played in the history of Ancient Rome.

Continue your panoramic drive as you admire the city center and some of the city's most important monuments, including the Naval Museum and the Cartagena Arsenal building.

Relax and enjoy a soft drink in Town Hall Square before re-boarding the trolley train for the journey back to the ship.

Minimal walking is required.
