See Barcelona from a foodie perspective with an evening out for tapas in one of Spain's foremost cities.
You'll head straight to Montjüic Hill to take in an impressive view of Barcelona from 2,300 feet in elevation -- a great spot to snap some photos of the city.
Back in the city center, leave the coach in the Gothic Quarter and set out on a walking tour through the narrow streets of this ancient neighborhood. Walk past Santa Eulalia's Cathedral -- one of the most beautiful Gothic-style monuments in the city. Your route takes you to the waterfront, where the gorgeous evening atmosphere is reflective of the lifestyle of urban Spaniards.
It's time to enjoy sampling some tapas (small tasting plates) at a local restaurant, where traditional local flavors meld seamlessly with a contemporary style of preparation and dining.
Walk down to the Old Harbor area afterwards for some free time, or you may wish to purchase a beverage (at your own expense) before you return to the ship.
Wear comfortable walking shoes. The walk requires negotiating steps, inclines and uneven surfaces. The tapas are a tasting snack; not a meal.
