Take advantage of this truly unique water percussion experience -- one that few visitors are fortunate enough to witness.

Your adventure in paradise begins by minibus, traveling north along the coast road before turning inland to a village inhabited by people from the Banks & Torres Islands at the northern extremity of Vanuatu. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by fierce warriors and a refreshing coconut drink.

Ladies from the remote, northern tropical islands of Vanuatu wade into the water up to their waists dressed in the traditional dress, including arm bands and headwear made from flowers and leaves. They perform the mystical water music unique to the isolated Banks & Torres region. An amazing array of percussion water music fills the air -- the highlight of any visit to northern Vanuatu. You'll experience a kastom (customary dance), be invited view the traditional preparation of kava, and witness other sacred customs.

There will be some great photo opportunities. Soft drinks and water are available for an extra charge.

Notes:

The water percussion performance is approximately 20 minutes. Bring bottled water. Wear sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat.
