The Dolphin Encounter is the ideal program to introduce you to the nature of these beautiful marine mammals -- a fun activity and a learning experience all in one.

The encounter takes place in waist-deep water within the Intercontinental Moorea Lagoon property, so there's no need for swimming. The trainers will tell you all you've ever wanted to know about Atlantic bottlenose dolphins' anatomy, behavior and habits. Their impressive jumps and flips are fascinating to observe. Dolphins are great acrobats and water ballet dancers making this a truly unforgettable experience.

Cameras are not allowed in the water. A photographer will take a picture of your interaction. Guests wishing to purchase souvenirs from the boutique should bring cash. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Exact depth of water is not guaranteed, due to currents and sea level variation. Participate at your own risk and evaluate your ability to take part prior to booking. Dolphins are wild animals; tour operates animal behavior and weather dependent. Minimum age is 5 years.
