The friendly crew welcomes you aboard the 60-foot motor vessel Oolala, named for the song of the local mermaids. Cruising out of the picturesque marina, take in the great views of the waterfront villas, neighboring islands, mountain ranges and historical sites. Keep your eyes on the magnificent scenic beauty of Fiji unfolds before you, or perhaps you prefer to simply to kick back with a good book and enjoy the cruise. Your captain will highlight historical sights and points of interest along the way. You’re headed to Savala—an uninhabited 1.5-acre island surrounded by white sandy beach. Upon anchoring, transfer to the island by glass-bottom boat. There’s time here for a guided snorkel session, a glass-bottom boat ride and a kayaking adventure, or simply resting on the beach in a truly serene atmosphere. Savala Island’s waters boast colorful coral gardens and, from the beach, there are views of the neighboring islands. Native birds enjoy this untouched, natural habitat too. Lunch is served back on board the boat—a barbecue with a variety of salads, served in air-conditioned comfort. Morning and afternoon tea are also included.
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Restrooms are available on board.
