This half-day excursion begins with a boat cruise aboard Sounds Adventure -- a large motor launch.

Docking at Mistletoe Bay, you'll enjoy an hour's guided trek along the Peninsula Loop -- a branch of the renowned Queen Charlotte Track.

Bask in the dappled light filtering through the canopy of native bush and pause to enjoy spectacular coastal views along the way. As you walk, bellbirds, tuis and other native birds will serenade you. Watch out for wekas -- the little bush hens that dart across your path in their relentless quest for anything shiny, fun or edible.

Finally, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee during the slow cruise back to the harbor in Picton.

Bring a rain jacket, hat, sunscreen and insect repellent. Wear comfortable walking shoes or light hiking boots. The track is mostly well formed, although some short sections may be somewhat steep, rough or muddy. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for guests with mobility limitations. The boat-ride over to Mistletoe Bay can be bumpy; not suitable for guests with back or neck conditions or for pregnant women.
