By when do I need to inform Holland America of my flight details?
Faq Answer

For guests who have made independent flight arrangements and purchased a Holland America Line transfer, you must advise Holland America Line of your flight details at least 15 days prior to arrival by completing online check-in. If Holland America Line does not receive the flight information, you will not receive the transfer and will be ineligible for reimbursement of this service. Holland America Line already has the flight details for guests who booked air travel through Flight Ease®.

What time should I book my flight before and after a cruise transfer?
Faq Answer

Please allow sufficient time pre-cruise for airport landing formalities and transportation time to the pier in order to check-in for the ship prior to the ship departing. For post-cruise transfers, please allow sufficient time for the ship to be cleared with Immigration and local Customs authorities, and the transportation time to get to the airport for departing flights. Flights booked with Holland America Line take these times into consideration when booking.

Can I book a transfer to or from my hotel?
Faq Answer

Transfers from the airport to your hotel and hotel to ship are provided to all guests who have purchased a Holland America Line hotel package (see the Hotels & Travel Packages page for more details). For those who booked a Holland America Line hotel package, hotel to ship transfer details will be available in your Hotel Welcome Letter provided upon check-in at your hotel. Holland America does not provide transfers for guests with independently booked hotels

What should I do if I require an Accessible Transfer?

If you have purchased a transfer through Holland America Line or have booked an Alaska cruisetour and require a lift vehicle, please call or have your travel advisor call our Access & Compliance Department as soon as possible, so we can arrange a special transfer (if applicable, please provide wheelchair information). Please reconfirm any special transfer requirements for disembarkation with the Front Office after you board. For cities of embarkation and/or disembarkation outside the United States, wheelchair-lift vehicles may not be available. Please call Access & Compliance for detailed information at 800-547-8493 or 206–281–3535 (ext. 4514) (TTY: 800–254–8669).

Where are Transfers available?
Faq Answer

You may book transfers between select major airports and your ship as well as from your ship to select major airports. Transfers operate on the day of embarkation and disembarkation only and are available to Flight Ease® guests and to guests who have independent flight plans. In addition, we offer transfers between select city center locations and Holland America ships in Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Rotterdam, Rome and Sydney, as well as between airport and hotel in Anchorage and Fairbanks.

How can I get to my Airport Transfer, before and after the cruise?

At the airport before your cruise, a Holland America Line representative will be waiting at the designated cruise ship meeting point, holding a Holland America sign. Once your transfer is confirmed, detailed information on this meeting point location will be available in your Electronic Cruise Documents (eDocs), which will be available approximately 45 days prior to sailing. After you cruise, a representative will be waiting at the coach loading area. Details will be provided in your disembarkation packet onboard.

Are Transfers refundable? What is the cancellation policy?
Faq Answer

Transfers are non-refundable within 14 days of sailing. To cancel or modify your transfer, please contact us at least 15 days prior to departure. Unused transfers are not refundable. For guests who have made independent flight arrangements and purchased a Holland America Line transfer, you must advise Holland America Line of your flight details at least 15 days prior to arrival by completing online check-in. If Holland America Line does not receive the flight information, you will not receive the transfer and will be ineligible for reimbursement of this service.
