By when do I need to inform Holland America of my flight details for my transfers?
Faq Answer

For guests who have made independent flight arrangements and purchased a Holland America Line transfer, you must advise Holland America Line of your flight details at least 15 days prior to arrival by completing online check-in. If Holland America Line does not receive the flight information, you will not receive the transfer and will be ineligible for reimbursement of this service. Holland America Line already has the flight details for guests who booked air travel through Flight Ease®.

What time should I book my flight before and after a transfer?
Faq Answer

Please allow sufficient time pre-cruise for airport landing formalities and transportation time to the pier in order to check-in for the ship prior to the ship departing. For post-cruise transfers, please allow sufficient time for the ship to be cleared with Immigration and local Customs authorities, and the transportation time to get to the airport for departing flights. Flights booked with Holland America Line take these times into consideration when booking.

Hospitality hosts are on-site Holland America representatives located at select partner hotels before a cruise. These representatives can help with questions about your transfers and will accompany you to the ship.

How can I find my transfer to and from the airport and hotel, before and after the cruise?
Faq Answer

At the airport before your cruise, a representative will be waiting at a designated meeting point with a sign. Once your transfer is confirmed, detailed information on this meeting point location will be available in your Electronic Cruise Documents (eDocs), which will be available approximately 45 days prior to sailing. At the hotel, upon check-in you will receive a letter with details about transfer to the ship. Post-cruise transfer details will be provided in your disembarkation packet onboard.

Select itineraries include an overland journey package before or after the cruise. This is an add-on travel package that includes hotels, transportation, a guide, and some food for once-in-a-lifetime travel destinations.

The Cruisetrain between Whittier and Anchorage can transport you between the ship and the airport. The Coach service is a bus that can transfer you from Seattle to Vancouver and vice versa. Due to temporary technical limitations, these options can be booked online for only one guest.
