This year, Holland America wowed more than 35.7 million viewers at the 99th Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade\u00ae with a float designed to bring the breathtaking beauty of Alaska to the streets of Manhattan. Featuring the largest kinetic sculpture in Parade history, the float captured the essence of the Great Land \u2014 glaciers, wildlife, fresh seafood, and the iconic Denali National Park \u2014 signature experiences guests enjoy on Holland America Alaska cruises and land-and-sea cruisetours.<\/p>\n<\/div>

At the heart of the design was the Holland America Line Denali Lodge, set against North America\u2019s tallest peak. The float appeared to glide through shimmering waves, surrounded by salmon leaping in rhythmic motion. Hand crafted by artisans at Macy\u2019s Studios, sculpted bears, moose, eagles, and wolves brought Alaska\u2019s wildlife into focus, while fishermen-themed escorts added authenticity.
