Holland America and its partner Daelmans Stroopwafels<\/a> \u2014 two iconic Dutch brands both with over a century of heritage \u2014 are bringing a taste of tradition to sea with\u202fStroopwafel<\/em>-inspired delights served morning, noon, and night. For the unfamiliar, \u201cstroop\u201d is pronounced like \u201crope,\u201d and \u201cwafel\u201d sounds exactly as expected \u2014 but the flavor of this crunchy, sweet treat is anything but.<\/p>\n

A Stroopwafel<\/em> (\u201csyrup waffle\u201d) is a traditional Dutch cookie made from two thin layers of baked dough filled with caramel syrup.
