Calling all animal lovers! A-moose<\/em> us by helping to nickname the next rescue moose at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center<\/a> (AWCC). Dedicated to preserving Alaska wildlife<\/a> through conservation, education, research, and quality animal care, AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round, providing them with over 200 acres of spacious habitats. Most animals that come into their facility are given a name to help foster a bond with their caring crew and visitors around the world. As a proud partner of AWCC and the incredible work they do in caring for and protecting Alaska wildlife, and recognizing moose are part of Alaska\u2019s \u201cBig Five<\/a>,\u201d we want to give our Holland America Line community the opportunity to help name the next one they rescue!<\/p>\n

From now through the end of June, nickname suggestions can be submitted on our designated AWCC post via our official Facebook<\/a> and Instagram<\/a> pages. Just comment on the post with your nickname suggestions. The top five will be chosen by our team in partnership with AWCC and then shared on our Facebook and Instagram pages to vote for your favorite. We\u2019ll then announce the winning nickname in early July.<\/p>\n<\/div>
