Their extreme isolation has led to some pretty interesting animal species, and Charles Darwin&#8217;s theory of evolution. Shore Excursion Manager Judy Hu dreamed of visiting the island for years. That dream became reality when she led the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollandamerica.com\/cruise-destinations\/ExcursionDetails.action?excursionCode=1010024266&amp;portCode=CA2&amp;voyageCode=S422B&amp;requestSource=cruiseDetailsPort?WT.mc_id=SM_HAB_TOUR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Galapagos Overland Adventure<\/a> shore excursion during a 2012 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollandamerica.com\/cruise-destinations\/grand-voyage-world-cruises?WT.mc_id=SM_HAB_SA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South America Grand Voyage<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The reason for me to join the cruise industry was to see the Galapagos Islands. My wish came true 20 years later. I&#8217;ve worked for Holland America Line since 1998.
