How to Navigate the New Holland America Blog

Welcome to the new and improved Holland America Blog! You’ll notice that the look of the blog has changed quite a bit, but the same amazing content can still be found. The blog is organized in a similar manner to the old blog, but there are a few new bells and whistles. We now have two featured posts. One is the main post of the day, while the other is on the right column. Nine other recent posts are highlighted below. The daily posts are fewer but longer and more comprehensive, as you’ve been seeing on the old blog these last couple of months.

To search for content by category, ship, date or destination, the menu has moved from the right of the homepage up to the top under a drop-down menu. Hover over the topics bar and the whole menu will appear. Captain Albert’s Blog also can be found in this section.

To the right, the boxes are linked so you can continue to send in your fabulous stories and posts from your Holland America Line adventures. We also have links to the Holland America Line homepage so you can plan you vacation and take advantage of great offers like Explore 4.

At the bottom of the page we’re making it easy for you to stay connected to all of Holland America Line’s other social media channels like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook.

If you have any questions about the new design, please email the editorial team at info@hollandamericablog and one of the editors will help you out.

We hope you like the new look of the blog and look forward to reading your comments below.

Captain Albert’s Blog shows categories that were not transferred to the new site, like the history of ships past and present…..and of days gone by. Can’t you move the data from the old blog into the new blog?

Hi Bettie. Everything will migrate. It’s just taking a bit of time. Thanks for your patience! Julie, HAB editor
