October 30 a Boo Ball was held on Amsterdam in The Crow’s Nest. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes, and guests voted for the winner of the jack-o-lantern carving competition held by chefs and crew. It was very festive and a packed house of ghosts and goblins.
After one month of fasting, the Muslim community of ms Maasdam enjoyed the festive Idul Fitri dinner. Delicious food and free sodas were provided by the Ships Management and everyone was invited to join.
Today is Labor Day in the United States, and all the banks, government offices and most businesses are closed. Your blog team is taking a well-deserved break today as well, but we’ll be back tomorrow, so come back and see what kind of cool stuff folks have sent us over the long weekend.
