Nieuw Amsterdam’s Master Chef’s Table

We had an amazing trip aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam, July 26th till August 7th. Here are photos of the Master Chef’s Diner with Chef Shawn McKerness. It was an amazing evening to be repeated on future cruise … Thanks for a memorable evening. — Natalie Boyko and Francois Saumur

I wonder what food and wines they were served and what the cost was. I have done one on the Westerdam in Feb. and we were in the cooking theatre.

We did something similar on a Princess ship, but have never done this on HAL. So we’re wondering if the experience would be similar… kitchen tour, with several exotic appetizers and champagne with the Head Chef and Maitre d’ (and even the Captain made a brief appearance) then several course meal (with several course drinks) narrated and served by the Maitre d’ ? It was $75 or $80 and I think we drank that much in alcohol alone!

Thanks for posting some pics! We are cruising on the NA in Dec. — Eastern Caribbean.
