Photo Diary: Greece

Noel Bell, HAL guest and frequent blog contributor, is on Noordam for 21 days and is sharing with us photos from his trip. Here are beautiful photos taken during his calls throughout Greece.

Argostoli, Greece, is one of the busiest ports on the island of Cephalonia. A lovely place to sample Greek cuisine in many of the restaurants here. This was the location for the film 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin.'

What a picturesque island with photo opportunities at every corner. From blue skies to blue seas & blue roofs, this is a place that beckons you back.

What memories! 2006 we were on the Windstar and traveled to all ports. Stayed in Athens a week as well as Santorini. Loved all. We walked everywhere in Santorini and loved Oia. We will be on the wonderful Nieuw Amsterdam on a wonderful adventure for 24 days on July 26th to Venice for 24 days. After that we will get off in Venice and go through Italy on our own and end in Paris for another month. The pictures brought back wonderful memories!

    Hi Denise

Many thanks for your comments. Yes this area is a magical place. If you have not seen the images of Venice from last week, check them out on the Noordam section of this blog.

We are now heading for Egypt in North Africa from Crete.

    Enjoy your cruise in July

    Regards

    Noel
