Noel Bell, HAL guest and frequent blog contributor, is on Noordam for 21 days and is sharing with us photos from his trip. Here are beautiful photos taken during his call at Heraklion, Crete.
Heraklion is the largest city in Crete (and fifth in Greece) with a population in excess of 120,000 and is the main port of entry to Crete for the majority of visitors. The Noordam, docked nearby, is within easy walking distance from the town centre. Originally a Venetian outpost, it has wonderful forts and ancient walls … Even a Starbucks!
Nice photos! I miss greece places..one of my many favorite place in the world.
thanks for sharing this.
