Cruise Diary: Stromboli Volcano

Yvon and Cees Kloppenburg were on a back-to-back western Mediterranean cruises on board Ryndam. They chronicled their cruising experience for us on the blog.

These are the kind of days you take a cruise with Holland America for. Impressive to have seen the Stromboli volcano from the decks of Ryndam. We did it before on Rotterdam and last year, also on Ryndam. We can assure you this view never bores. On days of scenic cruising, most of the time, the captain allows the bow of the ship to be opened to get an other view of the scenery.
