Yvon and Cees Kloppenburg are disembarking back-to-back western Mediterranean cruises on Ryndam today. They chronicled their cruising experience for us on the blog so we’ll continue to post their diary entries.
This is our second visit to Palma de Mallorca on this trip since we combined two cruises. Going ashore you will always see things which you did not experience on a previous visit.
Close to the cathedral looking up over the city wall.
Still looking a little empty...
But a few minutes later all street artists appear on the scene and around the square. I put my camera on high speed so you can see the motions in the air.
Makes you wonder how they manage to sit there all day long in extremely hot temperatures. Real human works of art.
We found a lovely coffee restaurant named “Cappuccino”" built on the inside square of a casa (Spanish house). An oasis for rest in the middle of town, and a coffee to return for.
If you like shopping, Palma is the place for you. That is what we did until it was time to return to Ryndam.
