Cruise Diary: All Good Things Must Come to an End

At sea

This is the last part of the Zaandam blogs from Cees and Yvon Kloppenburg. We are bound for San Diego with two sea days left on board. It’s time enough to say goodbye to the magnificent crew members of Zaandam. Of course it’s not possible to shake hands with them all, but from here I can write THANKS TO YOU ALL! We had the best time of our lives again on board a Holland America Line ship. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Firmin van Walle, Guest Relations Manager Iris Knubben and Captain Darin Bowland, and on shore John Primeau. Zaandam is a great ship to be on — Dutch soil at its best, the signature of excellence well worth the trip.
