Westerdam Hosts Susan G. Komen Survivor Celebration Luncheon

On September 20, there was plenty of cause for celebration aboard the Westerdam in Seattle as a group of more than 400 breast cancer survivors gathered to toast each other and their ongoing fundraising efforts at the 16th Annual Susan G. Komen for the Cure Puget Sound Survivor Celebration Luncheon.

Holland America Line partners with Susan G. Komen for the Cure through On Deck for the Cure, a ship-based program where guests make donations for walking laps around the deck on each cruise. Walks occur on more than 500 cruises annually. This year, Holland America Line surpassed the $1.8 million mark in contributions for this program, earning it a place on Komen’s prestigious Million Dollar Council.
