Captain’s Log: Eagle Eyes Upon Us

Most weeks when alongside in Ketchikan this eagle sits on the tree outside the bridge. Not sure if he is eyeing the hamburger pantry or if he is extra security but yesterday I know he was watching soccer on TV on the Princess ship. I think he is rooting for the Dutch team.

Best Regards,
Captain Werner Timmers

Great picture and excellent caption. That eagle must have brought good luck to the Dutch team today. Let him continue to root for the Netherlands with the rest of us in the WC final. Also, could you please encourage him to stay until September 23rd when the last Zuiderrdam cruise reaches Ketchikan. Looking forward to all your viewings and write ups that you submit, Captain Timmers. Thank you so much! Sept. 18th cruise can’t come soon enough. Alaksa is a beautiful state and one could never tire of visiting it.
