Bert Lamers, frequent HAL-blog contributor and maritime historian, recently wrote a book (in Dutch) titled Cruise-praet, Ervaringen van een cruiseliefhebber’ (Cruise-talk: Experiences of a Cruise-Lover). These photos are from Amsterdam’s Russian themed-dinner. We visited Petrovavlosk and Vladivostok, Russia. Crew members wore traditional Russian attire in red, white and blue, the colors of the Russian flag. The dining room was decorated with those same colors. This was another fun evening on board and the guests and crew really enjoyed it!
