Statendam kicked off the World’s Largest Cruise Sale with the unveiling of a truly amazing cake! The cake features Statendam crossing through the Panama Canal. Bart Groeneveld is Statendam’s hotel director.

Here are some photos from the Teppanyaki Barbecue we held on board Amsterdam. Teppanyaki is a style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The lido deck was decorated with Japanese umbrellas and other traditional ornaments. The food was absolutely delicious. We all had a great time!
Oosterdam guests got a real treat one morning when they found Captain Arjen van der Loo and Hotel Director Robert Versteeg alongside Sous Chef Reynaldo Sambile preparing pancakes for breakfast in the Lido. It was an exceptional experience for the officers and the guests seemed to really enjoy it as well.
