The first formal night on board the Statendam took us to our favorite dining spot at sea, the Pinnacle Grill. Here we enjoyed excellent service with great food and wine. We also attended a fun cooking demonstration. The Pinnacle Grill’s staff, led by their manager Sal, made that evening an unforgettable one for Yvon and myself.
Later that night we attended a Filipino crew show in the ship’s wonderful Showroom at Sea. The crew represented their country in a great way. They received a standing ovation after their performance.
The next day during tea time we met our dining room waiter serving us tea.
A wide choice of tea is presented during afternoon tea time at 15:00/3 p.m.
