Maasdam crew members were given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a free crew tour in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas — swim with the stingrays. Everyone who was able to join loved it much.

On Friday, November 6th, Amsterdam docked at Hobart, Tasmania. The locals were very friendly and the port authorities provided us with shuttle buses for the ship’s guest and crew. Westerdam crew members experienced the thrill of racing multi-million dollar America’s Cup race boats in the warm, blue waters and trade winds of St. Maarten. Yesterday Ryndam call at the beautiful port of Huatulco, Mexico — the “place of beautiful wood.” Our crew went on a float trip on the Copalita River. As they were floating quietly down the river they could enjoy the spectacular view and watch a magnificent bird ballet.
