Veendam got her first polar plunge yesterday which was a perfect way to prepare the ship for the upcoming Antarctica cruises. On April 5th, a group of crewmembers from the Veendam participated in a Dune Buggy Tour in Peru. We raced through the desert with a professional dune buggy driver at the wheel.
