It’s our last day on board. Sailing on the North Sea bound for Rotterdam, the home port of this vessel. It’s Wednesday night. We left Oslo and during dinner time we were sailing out of the fjords, which gave fantastic views. Just before dinner in the bars of ms Rotterdam they served with our drinks a famous Dutch treat. On the advice of the captain, we rose early to see the most beautiful fjord in Scandinavia. We ordered a breakfast in our stateroom so we could sit on our balcony and enjoy the view.
We arrived in the early evening in Copenhagen, so there was time for those who want to see nightlife to leave the ship. The next morning it was our turn.
This morning we arrived at Helsingborg. With Rotterdam’s own tenders we were ferried ashore Just in time for opening of the shops (10 a.m.).
It is a very relaxing sea day. After leaving Rotterdam Saturday in force 6 wind and showers in the morning it’s now a nice and sunny Sunday.
