On January 23, Prinsendam hosted Chile’s Minister of Economy and Tourism Pablo Longueira Montes and several members of the local media when the ship called at Valparaiso. Maasdam received a special delivery of locally harvested lobster when the ship called at Bar Harbor, Maine, Aug. 17 and 19. The fresh-off–the-boat lobster was delivered to the 1,258-passenger cruise ship by local supplier Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, a 50-plus-year-old family business based in Trenton, Maine.
