Oosterdam’s maiden voyage to the Australia/New Zealand region ended today with the ship docking at Sydney, Australia, where the journey began. During our call at Foynes on July 15th, Prinsendam’s senior staff officers were honored with a visit from the Foynes authority representatives, where a plaque exchange took place in order to mark Prinsendam’s return to their beautiful port after a lengthy absence. The authorities were received with champagne, mimosas and deluxe cold canapés.
On August 2, Maasdam made her inaugural call at Southampton, England, where a plaque exchange ceremony took place. Jaime de Castro-van der Loo is Maasdam’s human resources manager.
