On April 28th, 2010, the ms Westerdam culinary team — led by Culinary Operations Manager Don Habets, Executive Chef Andreas Noermayr and Dining Room Manager Sanjay Nariani — prepared a delightful tea time set up in the lower level Dining Room to welcome the ship’s 30 new hires. A delicious chocolate cake was a highlight of the event. With a welcoming speech from Marco van Bellenghem, hotel manager, and Kateryna Bannikova, human resources manager, the new members of the Westerdam team had an opportunity to get to know each other better and to feel welcomed to the Westerdam. Every new hire received a group picture of this event.
