Bert’s Beauty Shots: Sunset at a Different Angle

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Especially with photography you can make things look different by thinking outside the box. We’re not talking about changes via software, but by changing the way you stand or hold your camera.

Most people take straight shots on eye level. Nothing wrong with that; however, if you want to impress others, try something totally different. Hold your camera at different angles, take photos from a different height and try something new with your camera; hold it upside down, tilt it at 45 degrees and you’ll see you get a total different image of a subject.

This is an example of looking differently at a regular sunset. Go out! Explore the world and your camera.
