I took these shots of a welcome ceremony to mark the occasion of the Volendam’s visit to Nagasaki, Japan. Gifts of flowers, kites and sake were presented to Captain Arno Juten, Hotel Director Rene Tuinman and Cruise Director Dan Bernback. Guest Chef Sarah Grueneberg sailed on Volendam this month and conducted cooking demonstrations in the ship’s state-of-the-art Culinary Arts Center.
