In order to keep improving our teaching standards for our fellow crew members, we (4th, 3rd and 2nd deck officers) were sent to a week-long training with the main purpose of improving our teaching skills in accordance with the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) for seafarers. We were the first of two groups.
