In an effort to prevent crawling critters from entering Prinsendam via the mooring lines and endangering the vessel’s health and sanitation status, rat guards are employed to protect the mooring lines.
This vigilant creature managed to scare away all local wildlife and keep the ship from being infested with local imports. The environmentally friendly critter control was very much appreciated by the vessel; no pesticides had to be used, so the environment can live another day without pollution.
(No creatures were harmed in the making of this article!)
