During Oosterdam’s New Year’s cruise, the ship called at Mazatlan, where Mr. and Mrs. Lanterman invited 40 crew members on an afternoon shore excursion to Stone Island. December 30 was a busy day in Puerto Vallarta. In the Bay of Banderas was Celebrity’s Constellation, RCCL’s Mariner of the Seas, as well as ms Oosterdam (on her weekly call) and ms Rotterdam. During the Oosterdam’s call at Mazatlan, Santa made an early visit to spend the afternoon with 50 children from a local orphanage of ages 3 to 18 years old.
