Holland America Line, like most companies, rely heavily on its front-line manager-leaders to coach and mentor those under their supervision. Helping someone become better at their job requires selfless dedication. It also means taking time when you least have it, standing up for someone when they make mistakes and cheering them on when they succeed.
Susan Scott took the time and effort to take seven of Noordam’s stars and train them for the Leadership in Action course.
The participants showed their energy and leadership qualities and went through the intensive 16-hour training over the past two weeks. The LIA workshop covers 8 leadership topics, spending about 2 hours on each with all the course materials included in your own workbook. Once you complete all modules on the course you will also receive a graduation certificate! Remember “leadership is action not position.”
