We just received these beautiful renderings of Nieuw Amsterdam, Holland America Line’s newest ship that currently is under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Nieuw Amsterdam is scheduled to be named July 4, 2010.

Stunning. Love the art deco take on some of the rooms (with the exception of those chairs in the Pinnacle Grill).
I believe that they got the Pinnacle Grill Bar right on this ship. The colors and furniture work perfectly together. The chairs are a HUGE improvement over Eurodam’s chairs in that bar.
