Countdown Quiz #6: We Have a Winner!

In honor of the final days leading up to the launch of Nieuw Amsterdam, we’re having a fun quiz everyday for the last 10 days. Yesterday — Day 6 — we asked:

QUESTION: How far did Nieuw Amsterdam’s lifeboats and tenders travel to get to the yard?

The answer is 3,400 nautical miles. The winner is Miriam! Suzanne was first with the answer of 3,400 miles, but a nautical mile is different from a mile and we have to be sticklers. 1 nautical mile = 1.1508 miles.

Congratulations and thanks to all who submitted answers.
