Eurodam Bound for the Baltic

Saturday we sailed away from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for the last time this spring. We waited all spring for this trip because we are on our way to the Baltic. We have never been to that part of Europe before so we are excited about the ports we are going to visit.

Here are some pictures of our sail-away. It was a beautiful day in Fort Lauderdale, as you can see, and everyone is excited about our trans-Atlantic crossing. And, away we go.

The shore excursion team is ready for a busy summer season.

These guys escorted us out of the harbor every Saturday since January. They have a great time in their boat, jumping the wake and flying by at top speed. Makes me miss our jet skis. We feel like we know them. Pretty good duty.

Goodbye, Fort Lauderdale.

Next stop Portugal. See you there!

    Arky and Shirley-
Have a wonderful time in Europe on the lovely Eurodam! I’ve enjoyed reading your logs and sharing your experiences. It’s nice to see that some people have what others would consider an ideal job.
    Take Care,
    Eric Wood
