While the ms Rotterdam was docked at the port of Callao, Peru, overnight, former players from the Dutch National Football Team dropped in for a visit. This past January, ms Amsterdam visited Robinson Crusoe Island (Isla Róbinson Crusoe), about 200 miles off the coast of Chile, South America. It’s a secluded island in the Pacific Ocean where the real-life story of sailor Alexander Selkirk inspired the classic novel, Robinson Crusoe.
