2022 Grand Africa Voyage is a Sweeping Expedition of Colors and Contrast

Africa is a continent of riches, from the rolling grasslands of the savanna to the pristine beaches of the Seychelles. Travelers on the 2022 Grand Africa Voyage aboard Zaandam are in for an experience unlike any other, and with Holland America Line at the helm it will be a memorable journey. Overnight calls in port allow for extra time to explore some of the world’s most sought-after sites, while an abundance of safari opportunities make it possible to see Africa’s “Big Five” — lion, rhino, elephant, leopard and buffalo. Circle the continent on a 71-day day adventure that will immerse you in the colorful cultures of the region and leave you feeling deeply connected to the places you visit and people you meet along the way.

We are having a heck of a time finding yellow fever innoculations for the Africa cruise. Any insight ? We have called drug stores doctors health dept and $500 to $2000 for 2 seems a bit expensive. Where are others on this cruise going and price? Thks

  • Marie Riffle

I would like to go on the African cruise. I need a roommate to share cabin expenses. I am a retired 81 yr old female teacher in good health. This year I have been on a cruise to Egypt and also Iceland.

  • Margery

I’m booked on the 2022 cruise; it had been postponed due to the pandemic and NOW it’s finally in-the-works with only about 50 days til curtain!! Hurray. I’ve noted that, while Madagascar was initially on the itinerary, it is no longer offered. Alas, no lemur sightings. Perhaps, Sharm al Sheik and visit to St Catherine’s will make up for it!!

  • Leona Purchio

Please e-Mail me the inoculation shots required. (ASAP)
