Two HAL Ships Unite at Rotterdam for One Historic Moment

Sunday, June 26, Ryndam and Rotterdam were at port together for the first time in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and you better believe our regular Holland America Blog contributors were there with cameras in-hand to capture this moment. Special thanks to Hans Janssen, Patrick van der Vlies, Aad Hoogesteger and Bert Lamers for all the great photos!

Always one big party when the HAL ships are in the home port. 2011 can be marked as unique. Ryndam and Rotterdam together in our port. It’s great that Holland America Line has so much trust in the home port that in 2012 M/S Rotterdam will be sailing in and out of Rotterdam whole year around. It’s a compliment worth for all Rotterdam based staff of HAL working so hard to make the sailings out of Rotterdam so successful.
Keep on doing this fantastic work , we will be there on board for a cruise sailing out of Rotterdam or ashore
