Take an Exclusive Tour of Rome’s Colosseum & Other Superstar Attractions on a 2018 ‘Signature Experience’

All of Holland America Line’s 2018 Europe sailings – from the Mediterranean and the fjords of Northern Europe to the Baltic and Transatlantic – are now open for booking. Celebrate the launch of our 2018 European cruise season with an exclusive and intimate pre-cruise Signature Experience!

Guests traveling on a cruise departing from Rome can explore the Eternal City on an exclusive tour with our Signature Experience: A Night Out in Ancient Rome. Though considered an ancient open-air museum, Rome is also a bustling, contemporary capital city.

The adventures will begin at the Casa dei Cavalieri di Rodi (House of the Knights of Rhodes) on a terrace overlooking the Roman Forum. Guests will be offered hearty appetizers and their choice of prosecco, white or red wine to complement the spectacular views.

The magical evening concludes with an exclusive, after-hours tour of the Colosseum given by one its most elite guides. Although Rome might not have been built in one day, our guests will certainly be able to experience the highlights of the city in 24-hours on our A Night Out in Ancient Rome Signature Experience.

Book a suite on select sailings and the Signature Experience is a complimentary perk. However, space is limited and reservations are required for all participants.

Holland America Line’s new Signature Experiences are specially curated encounters offered before select cruises. In Europe, the tours depart from five fascinating cities: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rome and Venice. Each experience is a Holland America Line exclusive and includes immersive cultural tours, entertainment, luxurious two-night hotel accommodations and complimentary transfers from the airport to the hotel and to the ship.
