Thanks to HAL guests Brian and Louise for sending in the following note and pictures from their July cruise aboard Prinsendam.
On the Celtic Enchantment cruise, Prinsendam stopped in Foynes (county of Limerick), Ireland. The village of about 600 inhabitants had never seen such a large cruise ship before and everyone came out to witness our arrival and departure on the Shannon River. There was a huge traffic jam, and cars were parked all along the roads and on the shore close to the dock. Not to mention all the curious ones who came to take pictures and to be there for the big event. Quite a memorable adventure. — Louise and Brian from Ottawa, Canada.
