iPhone iBlog: The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain

Special thanks to Jerrol Golden, Holland America Line’s public relations manager, for sharing these iPhone photos from her recent visit to Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain, during her Nieuw Amsterdam cruise.

Antonio Gaudi designed this amazing Basilica in the early 1900’s and it is still being constructed. If I had one word to describe it I would say either jaw dropping (ok that was two!) or magnificent. The attention to detail is astounding. You have to see it to believe it. Many buildings in Barcelona were designed by Gaudi. His whimsical sense of design can be found throughout the city.
