On August 29, Volendam donated approximately $200 in Canadian coins to British Columbia’s Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. Below is a picture of myself handing over the jar to Krishna, a YVR agent. Maasdam received a special delivery of locally harvested lobster when the ship called at Bar Harbor, Maine, Aug. 17 and 19. The fresh-off–the-boat lobster was delivered to the 1,258-passenger cruise ship by local supplier Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, a 50-plus-year-old family business based in Trenton, Maine.
